Second edition of the“Puglia Food Awards,” the awards given to producers and food and wine excellence strictly made in Puglia. Chefs, businesses and restaurants are candidates for one of ten product categories, namely wine, oil, pasta, bread and taralli and friselle, cheese, charcuterie, craft beer, spirits and liqueurs, desserts, and canned food.
The event, organized by the cultural association Italy Food Awards, was created with the aim of identifying, rewarding and rewarding the food and wine excellence of the region, as well as the work of those who contribute to the development and knowledge of individual products. The Puglia Food Awards are meant to be an opportunity to bring together in a special evening the protagonists of the agri-food world, who contribute to keeping Puglia’s name high in the world, bringing to the tables products of the highest quality.
Awarded at Villa De Grecis the winning companies of the second edition, in an evening that saw them take center stage in front of great guests and an enthusiastic and entertained audience. The absolute stars of the evening at Villa De Grecis were representatives of the companies honored as winners.
The Biscò company was recognized among Apulian excellence by awarding our products a Special Mention in the Bread category.
