A total of 112 corporations with registered offices in Puglia were honored at the 50th Industria Felix event, 5th edition of “The Apulian Tourism Industry,” held May 25 in Gallipoli at the Grand Hotel Costa Brada.

The companies awarded theHigh Budget Honor are those that perform best at the management level, are financially reliable, and some are even sustainable limited to those sectors that play a strategic role in the development of the tourism industry: agribusiness (34 companies awarded), communication/culture/information/entertainment (16), fashion (13), catering (10), tourism (25), and wine-growing (14).

The event was organized by Felix Magazine Industry, a quarterly supplement to Il Sole 24 Ore, in collaboration with Cerved, Luiss Guido Carli University, Industria Felix Cultural Association, under the patronage of Confindustria Puglia, Simest (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti Group), Bari Polytechnic, University of Bari Aldo Moro and University of Salento.

Also among the 34 companies in the Apulian agribusiness sector is PanBiscò, based in Altamura, a leader in the bakery sector that has focused on innovation since its inception without neglecting quality and corporate values. Luigi Picerno, founder and creator of a recognizable and ever-evolving brand in which quality, craftsmanship, transparency and attention to consumers are the added value of the products, and where innovation marries tradition, received the award.
