Ricetta made by the Pane di Altamura DOP Consortium with exclusive use of Altamura DOP bread.

For 4 persons.

INGREDIENTS
  • 300 gr. of stale Altamura bread

  • 1/2 L of milk

  • 200 gm diced mortadella

  • 5 eggs

  • 100 gm grated cheese

  • 200 gm of diced mozzarella cheese

GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
  • Arrange bread soaked in milk in a baking dish.

  • add the mortadella along with the cheese and mozzarella cheese

  • Pour in the beaten eggs with a little cheese and bake at 220 °C for about 30 minutes
