Luigi Picerno: “I want to dedicate this award to my city but especially to my collaborators and my family.”

Last June 17 in Acaya at the 43rd Industria Felix event, 70 Apulian companies were honored for best management performance and financial reliability by being awarded the High Budget Honor: 40 from agribusiness, 15 from fashion, 5 from communication, culture, information and entertainment, 5 from wine-growing, 4 from catering and 1 from tourism.

These include Altamura-based Panbiscò represented in Acaya by owner Luigi Picerno and his two children Stella and Nicola.

“I want to dedicate this award,” commented Luigi Picerno, “to my city but especially to my collaborators and family who daily contribute to the growth of the company. We have brought in recent years to the tables of Italians the best of Altamura’s baked goods and in particular the “Bruschetta di Altamura” and the “Tozzapane.” With these two creations every day anyone can taste a piece of Puglia, of our Alta Murgia, in a few minutes, without giving up quality and craftsmanship, the main actors of the products of our territory.”

IFM’s event is produced in collaboration with Cerved, Luiss Guido Carli University, A.C. Industria Felix, with the support of Confindustria, under the patronage of Confindustria Puglia, Simest, Bari Polytechnic, University of Salento, University of Bari, University of Foggia, with media partnership of Il Sole 24 Ore and Askanews, and with partnerships of Banca Mediolanum, Mediolanum Private Banking, Grant Thornton and ITS Logistica Puglia.
