Ricetta made by the Pane di Altamura DOP Consortium with exclusive use of Altamura DOP bread.

For 4 persons.

INGREDIENTS
  • 8 slices of toasted stale Altamura bread

  • 4 slices of scamorza cheese

  • 2 eggs

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 50 gr. of ventresca

  • a few cherry tomatoes, basil, oregano

GUIDE / INSTRUCTIONS
  • Pour a drizzle of oil into a frying pan and arrange a layer of toasted bread

  • Add the scamorza cheese, ventresca, some chopped tomatoes, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, oregano and some basil

  • Cover with another layer of toasted bread. Finally pour in the previously beaten eggs and bake for a few minutes
